5–6 Player ExtensionCATAN
The starting player is player 1 and the third player to their left is player 2. Player 1 takes a normal turn (production and action); then player 2 takes an action phase. Then both markers and the dice pass to the left. This replaces the Special Building Phase of earlier editions.
