Bazaars
Bridges, Castles & BazaarsCarcassonne
After you place a bazaar tile and finish your turn, hold an auction, unless fewer tiles remain than players. Reveal 1 tile per player. The player to your left picks a tile and opens the bidding; the others bid higher or pass, clockwise, once each, and the picker then buys it (paying the high bidder that many points) or sells it (the high bidder pays the picker). If nobody else bid, the picker pays their bid to no one; the next player without a tile picks next, and the last takes the final tile free. Then, starting with the first buyer, each places their tile, may place a meeple and scores; a bazaar placed this way starts no new auction.
