Event Cards

There are 5 Event cards mixed into the Player Deck. Anyone may play one at any time, even during someone else's turn, except between drawing a card and resolving it — playing it isn't an action and doesn't cost one. It still counts toward your 7-card hand limit until it's played.

With On the Brink: On the Brink adds 8 more Event cards to the Player Deck.

With State of Emergency: State of Emergency adds 7 Event cards, and you use 2 Event cards per player.
