Place your builder, instead of a meeple, on a road or city of your new tile where you already have a meeple (never a field). Whenever you later place a tile that extends that road or city, you immediately draw and place a second tile — a full turn, with a meeple and scoring — but never a third. The builder doesn't count for the majority, and several builders can share one feature. It stays until you no longer have a meeple on that road or city (usually when it scores), then returns to your supply.
