Tower: What It Can't Capture

A tower can't capture a pig, builder or barn, a meeple in the city of Carcassonne or in a castle, or any neutral figure or token (fairy, dragon, Count, bridge, castle). Mayors and wagons can be captured but can't be placed on top of a tower; barns can do neither. A large meeple may go on top of a tower. A bridge and a tower can share a tile — shift the tower if needed.
