Building and Connection Costs
BuildingPower Grid
A new city costs the cheapest connection(s) from one of your connected cities plus the cheapest empty building space in that city (10, 15 or 20). You pay the full connection costs for every city you add, even for a connection you paid earlier, and you can go through cities without building there. Example (Germany, Step 1, network starting in Essen): Duisburg costs 10 from Essen, Dortmund 12 (10+2 via Münster) and Aachen 21 (10+9+2).
