Set 2 Variants

Set 2 has 42 plants and a Step 3 card and works best with the Europe / North America expansion, but also with the Germany and USA maps. The first variant replaces the base plants: shuffle the plug-back plants (03–15), draw 8 and sort them, then prepare the stack as in the base game. The second variant shuffles both decks (removing only the base Step 3 card): fakes and originals work as in Set 1, with the first plant of each number drawn going to an unused area and the second to the market. Remove pairs for the player count with 5 extra fakes (2 players), 7 (3 players) or 3 (4 players), then put the Step 3 card at the bottom.
