Abbey Tile
Abbey & MayorCarcassonne
Each player has one abbey tile. Instead of drawing and placing a land tile, you may place your abbey — but only in an empty space with tiles on all 4 sides, and it doesn't need to match them. It closes every edge it touches, which can complete the features there. You may put a monk on it, and it scores exactly like a monastery. The rulebook doesn't say whether an abbey can be placed after the last tile; we play that it can't, since it replaces drawing a tile.
