Hinterlands

The Hinterlands boards sit beside the main board; each space gets 1 cube of its colour when the first 9 cities are infected. You can drive or ferry in along a coloured disk from a connected city, and use Airlift and Charter Flights, but not Direct Flights (there are no City cards for them). Research stations there come only from Government Grant or the Operations Expert. A disease counts as eradicated only when no cubes are left on either board. Otherwise the game ends as in the base game.
