Your conservation counter rises when you support conservation projects, make donations, release animals into the wild and through some cards. Reaching conservation 2 gives you an Action card upgrade or an extra active association worker, and reaching 5 or 8 lets you take 5 money or a bonus token. The first time any player reaches 10, everyone discards one Final Scoring card. It can't go past 41.
