Variant 3: The Big Deck

Play with all the base plants and the Step 3 card plus new plants 46, 50, 52, 54 and 57; the new 46 and 50 count as larger than the base ones. Choose a playing zone of 24 cities (2 or 3 players), 32 (4), 40 (5) or 42 (6), removing 1 plug-back and 6 socket-back plants (2 players), 2 and 7 (3 players) or 1 and 4 (4 players). Step 2 comes at 8 connected cities (7 with 6 players) and the game ends at 20 (2 to 4 players), 18 (5) or 15 (6). Ignore connections to unused cities.
