Do Canal Links Survive Into the Rail Era?
ClarificationBrass: Birmingham
No — every Link tile, canal or rail, is removed from the board once it's scored at the end of an era. Since Canal Era end-of-era scoring removes every Link tile on the board (see When Link Tiles Actually Score), the Rail Era always starts with no Link tiles anywhere: everyone rebuilds their network from scratch with rail Links, on top of the same underlying board routes.
