Components

The box has 1 board, 7 Role cards and matching pawns, 96 disease cubes (24 of each of 4 colours), 6 research stations, 4 cure markers, an Infection Rate marker and an Outbreaks marker. There are 59 Player cards (48 City, 5 Event and 6 Epidemic), which become the Player Deck during setup. There's a separate 48-card Infection Deck, one card per city, which never contains Event or Epidemic cards.

With On the Brink: On the Brink adds 6 roles, 8 events, Virulent Strain Epidemic cards and the Mutation and Bio-Terrorist materials.

With In the Lab: In the Lab adds a lab board with 5 dishes, Sequence cards, cure vials, and awards, goal and bonus cards, and extra role cards.

With State of Emergency: State of Emergency adds 5 roles, 7 events, 10 Emergency Events, Hinterlands boards and die, vaccine factories and doses, Quarantine markers, purple Superbug cubes, Superbug Infection cards and 8 Superbug Bonus cards.
