How In the Lab changes play
In the Lab
Cures are researched on a lab board before they are discovered.
- Lab actions at a research station research cures; Process a Sample moves cubes across the lab board, and a completed research line cures with just 3 City cards.
- Also included: Lab roles, a team game and a CDC solo mode.
Pandemic rules it changes
- Components In the Lab adds a lab board with 5 dishes, Sequence cards, cure vials, and awards, goal and bonus cards, and extra role cards.
- Hand Limit The solo game's CDC has a hand limit of 7.
- Roles In the Lab adds the Field Director, Pilot, Local Liaison and Virologist, plus lab versions of the Researcher and Epidemiologist.
- How the Game Ends In the Lab's team game wins by curing all 4 diseases, or curing 3 and eradicating them.
