A Pottery doesn't produce a resource cube — it flips only through the Sell action, once you have a connection to a Merchant and the beer to pay for it. A flipped Pottery scores the VP printed on it at the next era-end scoring. A Pottery tile showing the lightbulb icon can never be Developed — it can only leave your Player Mat by being Built.
