How Europe / North America changes play
Europe / North America
These maps are played with Power Grid (Recharged or the original). Everything else is unchanged.
- Setup: Europe resource market: coal on spaces 2–9, oil 3–9, garbage 3–8, uranium 8–9. North America: coal 2–9, oil 4–9, garbage 3–8, uranium on space 9. Use that map's refill card for your player count.
- Setup: Europe power plant market: shuffle the plug-back plants and draw 9. The 4 smallest are the current market and the other 5 the future market.
- Setup: Europe stack: skip the spare plug plant; do not put a plug-back plant on top of the stack, just put the Step 3 card under it. Remove plants for the player count as usual.
- Europe Step 2: instead of the usual replacement, at the start of Step 2 remove the lowest current-market plant without replacing it, so the future market shrinks to 4.
- North America cities: New York and Mexico City are metropolises: 2 cities each, joined at 0 Elektro, with at most 1 of your houses in each.
